Jim Oliver is the most caring, trusting and compassionate Doctor and I count myself truly fortunate that I have been under his care for the past seventeen years. He works tirelessly for the good of his patients and the town and it's health facilities! He is wonderful!

Dr Oliver has always treated me as an intelligent person who understands her own health and who knows her children. He listens, explains without patronising, never acts as if he knows it all, and totally humours me (in the best possible way) when I think I do!! He has a wonderful bedside manner, and the children adore him. He is the most patient man I know, and never rushes you out the door. I feel I could tell Dr Oliver anything, as I trust him completely. As a result of this trust I told him about an intuition I had about my health a few years ago - he immediately acted and, although others said I did not look ill enough, if transpired I needed emergency life saving surgery. I don't blame people for not spotting a rare condition - but Dr Oliver knew me so well he did - I wouldn't be here today without him. I can't recommend him highly enough.
